Now you can use this power of many minds to find answers to the quality and management system questions you have by raising them in the ley hill forums. We have introduced the forums to start discussion on many relevant topics and would like you to join in.

Ask a question to start a topic going, post your answer to a discussion thread already underway or just view the comments as they appear.

Importantly make use of this tool and don't waste even more time looking for that elusive answer on the internet.

Newsletter May 2009
Greetings!

Swine Flu Pandemic, Recession, Debts rising...... sometimes there seems to be just too many things which are just to big to handle and of course you probably haven't got time to think about them anyway.

At ley hill solutions we are always looking for ways in which we can help our customers and often its just looking at a problem in a different way that gives that lightbulb moment.

In this issue of our Newsletter we have provided some useful links which we hope will make you think (and even take the time to think), but also make you want to take action.

In terms of Swine Flu it may be that a day spent at the BQF networking event on Wednesday 13th May will give you insights into what you can do to protect your business.

The recession can mean surviving for many and thriving for others so they are much stronger when the upturn comes. Our reviewed and improved Online Excellence Calculator now gives you practical advice in a tailored report based on your self assessement - give it a try.

Debt and cashflow is always an issue but look out for the CBI's Business Voice magazine due out in a weeks time which will include a DVD featuring ley hill solutions and one of our clients - Scalable Communications. This DVD called "Fit for Tomorrow" looks at the ways in which businesses can prepare themselves to thrive even in hard times.

Contact us or use our discussion forums if you need more information or we can help in any way.

On line Excellence Calculator

Our On-Line Excellence calculator has changed.

We have been looking at ways to provide our customers with more information and assess how they are performing. Also, we have undertaken research on what the users of our website really want and the result is a revised and improved Calculator.

The basic assessment tool of the calculator remains the same but the output is much more comprehensive and tailored to the individual organisation undertaking the quick 10 minute self assessment.

Users now get a report structured around the 9 criteria of the EFQM Excellence model with key areas they could consider addressing to improve their performance all ranked according to the self-assessment scores.

Give it a try and see if it makes you think about the way you run your business. Even if you have already completed the assessment before try it again, we all know that performance changes over time and can go up or down so perhaps trying the calculator again will give you a more up to date perspective on where you are now.
