Many of you are preparing for a busy holiday with family or some much needed outdoor time this week and weekend. The Reed's Beads staff is prepping for our third annual Good Friday Sale Fri., 04/02/10 and Sat., 04/03/10.

Visit either day and receive a 20% discount on your entire purchase of regular priced items. Classes, labor, clearance items, net-priced merchandise, and gift certificates will not be discounted and discounted sales will not earn Busy Beader points. If you need further clarification, please ask us at the store.

For those of you available early Friday, we have an additional discount for you. We're opening early at 9:00 AM Fri. and offering an Early Beader Discount Coupon good on one item. Adult customers arriving at the following times will receive one coupon good for a discount on Friday, 04/02/10 of the purchase of any one bead, one strand of beads, one finding, or one piece of finished jewelry.

9:00 AM - 9:30 AM                           40% off of one item
9:31 AM - 10:00 AM                         35% off of one item
10:01 AM - 10:30 AM                       30% off of one item
10:31 AM - 11:00 AM                       25% off of one item

This discounted item will receive the discounted percentage specified on the coupon only. The coupon discount may not be combined with the sale. For instance, if you arrive at 9AM, you'll get 40% off of one item and 20% off of the rest of your purchase. You do not need to bring anything with you. The coupon will be given out at the store.

The Early Beader Discount Coupon issued may be used on one increment of one item only, and not on clearance items, trunk show merchandise, tools, magazines, or books. Lillypilly Designs Trunk Show Extension

Some of you have asked, and now we're pleased to announce the extension of our trunk show with Lillypilly Designs through Sat., 04/03/10. Lillypilly Designs offers beautiful laser-etched pendants and beads made from natural materials, such as shell, horn, wood, and nuts. Pics of the trunk show merchandise and some design ideas are shown below.

Lillypilly Designs' pendants are handmade, come in varying sizes, designs, and colors. They range in price from $7 to $40 per individual pendant. A pendant can be the focal piece on an earring or a simple necklace of silk, chain, leather, etc., or they may be strung into a more elaborate piece with beads.

Because most of the pendants are made either from mother of pearl, blacklip, or pen shell, the pendants look especially great with organic beads, such as pearls and semi-precious stones. We have a few tagua nut pendants left - this is also known as "vegetable ivory." Both materials make fantastic quick gifts when used with a bail or jump ring on our washed or raw silk cords available in a rainbow of colors.
