"TEAM CDV - Beyond 26.2"
On Sunday March 17, 2013, run a marathon for the kids
Corazon de Vida is an official charity for the Los Angeles Marathon held on Sunday March 17, 2013. If you are a marathoner or ever dreamed about running 26.2 miles, here is your chance to run for our kids living in Baja orphanages. Check our TEAM CDV - BEYOND 26.2 website for more information. Official registration begins October 1, but click HERE to let us know you are interested, and we will keep you updated with all you need to know.
We need at least 40 runners, so please be sure you round up others to join you. Each CDV TEAM runner will need to raise at least $800 but don't worry, you can easily reach your goal using our TEAM CDV - BEYOND 26.2 ONLINE CAMPAIGN and with our help. Our goal is to raise at least $75,000, an easy and achievable goal with your help.

Meet Our Kids

MEET FERNANDO, 14 year resident of the Casa Hogar El Faro in Tijuana who has started university this semester, majoring in civil engineering. Felicidades Fernando for never giving up when others have, we know it was not easy. CDV education sponsors have your back and will make your dreams come true if you want it. Congratulations to our other students who are entering university this semester: PERLA of the Ebenezer Orphanage, ISAAC of El Faro. Reach for the stars, work hard, and return one day to lend a hand for others who follow in your footsteps.

TEE IT UP FOR PEQUENOS HERMANOS, OCTOBER 6 ~ We are hosting a golf tournament at the Ensenada Golf Club to benefit the Pequenos Hermanos Orphanage. We can help with all logistics (transportation, hotel, meals) For more information, click HERE. ANNUAL HOLIDAY TRIP & PLEDGE CAMPAIGN, DECEMBER 1 ~ Get the day off, call in sick, make sure your passport is valid, round up family & friends, and join us for our last orphanage trip of the year. 4 buses will visit the orphanages, bringing supplies, love, and surprises. WE NEED AUCTION ITEMS. CDV will have many high profile events this year and we are in need of auction and raffle items. Time shares, airline miles, new merchandise. If you own a business, please provide us with product, gift certificates, discounts and help promote your organization to a demographic that supports businesses that helps the children. THE ORPHANAGES NEED VEHICLES to get kids to school and for other errands. Many of their vehicles are unsafe, leaving them stranded on the side of the road. Please donate your operational vehicles to CDV, we'll provide tax deduction documents.
