Corazon de Vida is an official charity for the 2013 Los Angeles Marathon
On March 17, 2013, run 26.2 miles for the kids
Only 70 non-profits get chosen to be an official charity for the LA Marathon so please help us take advantage of all of the benefits that come with this opportunity.
If you are a marathoner, please consider running for TEAM CDV. If you have always wanted to run a marathon, we can help you prepare by participating in our running clinics being planned for LA/OC/SD counties starting in the Fall. We will also need volunteers for committees before, during and after the race.
CAN YOU HELP US? Please email George Perez at george@corazondevida.org for more information. We are just at the starting line in preparations for this race but with your help, we will make winners of all of the kids we support living in Baja orphanages.

ANTONELLO RISTORANTE IN SANTA ANA will host our Notte Bianca annual event on Thursday, July 19 from 6:00 PM - 9:30 PM. Wear something white and transport yourself to Tuscany as we present our achievements this past year and bid on outstanding auction items by a cascading fountain. Meet some of our orphanage directors while listening to the soothing jazz of Mayaztek.

ORPHANAGE TRIP, August 19 ~ Our July trip is SOLD OUT, but please do not hesitate to register for the August 19 trip to the Hacienda Orphanage. Click HERE for tickets and more information.
ORPHANAGE DORM CONSTRUCTION, July 22 & 23 ~ A few seats remain for skilled contractors to help build a GIRLS DORM at the Rancho El Faro orphanage in Ensenada. Depart early July 22, return late July 23, work very hard. Ready? Email george@corazondevida.org for more information. |

WE NEED AUCTION ITEMS. CDV will have many high profile events this year and we are in need of auction and raffle items. Time shares, airline miles, new merchandise. If you own a business, please provide us with product, gift certificates, discounts and help promote your organization to a demographic that supports businesses that helps the children. MADRE VIRGINIA OF THE HACIENDA ORPHANAGE HAS RETIRED. A true angel on earth for hundreds of children, Madre Virginia gave shelter and hope to those who needed it the most. Thank you Madre, you will never be forgotten, God Bless You.
LAMBDA THETA ALPHA LATIN SORORITY OF CAL POLY SAN LUIS OBISPO collected 35 backpacks filled with educational supplies for the Ebenezer Orphanage in Tijuana. This was their 4th year in doing this much needed project. We need help in providing school material for the other orphanages. USA CITIZEN FLOR JAQCUELINE IS IN THE USA. She has started English and American Culture courses at UC Riverside and is another life CDV sponsors have changed forever. Please read this ARTICLE and follow her adventures via this PHOTO ALBUM.
