We Need You On May 18 To Help Us Win a New Toyota Highlander

6 years ago, a nice CDV friend donated their van with 140,000 miles to us and since then, we have traveled hundreds of times to Baja orphanages delivering food and supplies to the children. Pot holes deep enough to swallow most small cars, puddles up to the bumper, dodging cars in Tijuana, pedestrians, wayward dogs, nails, and more. Each time, she has brought us home safely.
Toyota has given us an opportunity to replace our van with a new Toyota Highlander SUV. Out of 4000 applicants, we have been graciously chosen as a finalist. For us to win, we MUST HAVE YOUR VOTE ON FRIDAY MAY 18, 2012 as we compete with 4 other charities for your vote. You must have a Facebook page to vote HERE.

UN SUENO... UNA REALIDAD, ENSENADA, June 7 ~ Our first event in Ensenada will raise funds for children's education. Sano's Steak House will host this premier event that will include food, silent auction, live music, and CDV presentation. Only $250 pesos ($20 dlls), click HERE for tickets and information. WE NEED AUCTION ITEMS. CDV will have many high profile events this year and we are in need of auction and raffle items. Time shares, airline miles, new merchandise. If you own a business, please provide us with product, gift certificates, discounts and help promote your organization to a demographic that supports businesses that helps the children. STUDENTS OF NORTHWOOD ELEMENTARY thank you for collecting school supplies for the orphanages. They will be used daily.
CRISTIAN ORNELAS collected 35 backpacks filled with educational supplies for his school project. Items were delivered to the Pequenos Hermanos orphanage in Ensenada. CAREER DAY 2012 will be held in Ensenada on Saturday June 9 and Tijuana at the UABC university. We need title sponsors for these important annual events.
