Students Raise Money To Help With Their Education Costs
"We are grateful for your support and we want to do what we can to help out. "
The younger kids who live at the orphanage do not know where their clothing, food, water, electricity, school, medical, and daily necessities come from ... it just happens. But most teenagers do know. They know that Corazon de Vida donors and sponsors work hard each day to make sure they have a chance in life. Now that many are in high school and university, it is their turn to help us.
To help with their education costs, the students are doing raffles, selling embroidered pens, making chocolate confections for events, selling "paletas" (lollipops), washing cars, and doing extra chores to pay for school.
"We are grateful for your support and we want to do what we can to help out". The students are doing their part and making sacrifices to take ownership of their future. Let's help them reach for the stars. If you would like to buy a pen or chocolate creation, please contact us.

KPBS Video on a Corazon de Vida Orphanage Trip

KPBS-TV SAN DIEGO joined us on our March trip to Casa Hogar Sion with a reporter and cameraman to film our day. Reporter Jose Luis Jimenez learned our our work and met many of our donors and sponsors who attended the trip. The piece will allow us to let others know of the need in Baja of orphan and abandoned children and hopefully donate funds. We can surely use the help right now.

3rd ANNUAL RED CARPET, LOS ANGELES, May 12 ~ The historic La Fonda Restaurant will host us for an evening of food, music, art, raffle, and more. Tickets are only $10.00 and are available HERE.
ORPHANAGE TRIP, May 19 ~ The CDV charter bus will visit the Hacienda Orphanage, home to 70 wonderful children waiting for you to hang out. Click HERE for tickets and more information.
UN SUENO... UNA REALIDAD, ENSENADA, June 7 ~ Our first event in Ensenada will raise funds for children's education. Sano's Steak House will host this premier event that will include food, silent auction, live music, and CDV presentation. Only $250 pesos($20 dlls), click HERE for tickets and information. WE NEED AUCTION ITEMS. CDV will have many high profile events this year and we are in need of auction and raffle items. Time shares, airline miles, new merchandise. If you own a business, please provide us with product, gift certificates, discounts and help promote your organization to a demographic that supports businesses that helps the children. YOGA CLASSES AT THE HACIENDA. A Tijuana yoga instructor has begun classes for the children to help ease stress and make them more limber. The program is a huge success. Click HERE to view the photos.
