15 Students in University This Year!
"Stay in school, stay away from drugs, be a leader, change your life"
We know that feeding children is probably the most important action we can take to assure that our kids have a chance, but for many years, CDV never had the ability to take the kids to the next level by providing higher education opportunities. Thanks to recent corporate and individual commitments, we are proud to announce that we have helped 15 impoverished and abandoned children attend a Baja university this year.
"Stay in school, stay away from drugs, be a leader, change your life", a message we have been saying for many years. 15 children listened, and many more are ready to follow their footsteps. With your help, we can continue to make dreams come true.
Please MEET OUR STUDENTS and learn of their university majors. If you would like to help them and the future leaders coming up, please consider making a donation to our EDUCATION FUND.

Tournament of Roses Parade

Kit Cat Clocks, thank you for the opportunity of participating in the 2012 Tournament of Roses Parade and to let many know of the orphanages in Baja. Our representative on the float, MARIBEL GUILLEN LANE had an experience she will never forget.
Maribel was interviewed by many media outlets, went to Universal Studios, toured LAFD Station 45 in San Pedro, visited the Hollywood sign, and gobbled many In N' Out Double Doubles. An experience she will never forget. Maribel has started university and is on her way to a communications major. Enjoy her PHOTOS.

VALENTINES PARTY, Feb 10 ~ Equinox Club in Irvine will host us for an evening of food, music, silent auction, massages, and more. Wear RED and join us for this special event. Tickets are only $35.00 and are available HERE.
ORPHANAGE TRIP, Feb 18 ~ The CDV charter bus will visit the Hacienda Orphanage, home to 80 wonderful children waiting for you to hang out. Click HERE for tickets.
VIVA LA FIESTA SAN DIEGO, Feb 25 ~ Ortega's Bistro in San Diego will host this event featuring music by residents of the Casa Hogar Sion Orphanage, a silent auction, great food, and much more. Click HERE for tickets.

RE CARES OF SAN DIEGO provided Christmas gifts for the children of the Los Angelitos orphanage in Tijuana. The 25 children did not get many visitors this year, so this was a special treat. DIA DE LOS REYES was extra special this year for Rancho El Faro. Angels from as far away as PA sent gifts, letters, and super nice gifts for this special day. Check out these SMILES.
