Dulces Corazones, a new teen business at the Estado 29 Orphanage
This month was the commencement of a new business at the Estado 29 orphanage near Ensenada. Dulces Corazones is the commitment of CDV volunteer Ana Gonzalez and her company, Apple-Revolution. Six teen girls at the home learned how to create premium chocolate covered strawberries, cookies, nuts, and other delicious delicacies. The girls will also learn about inventory, taking orders, marketing, promotion, gross sales, and hopefully lots of net profit. View the PHOTOS of their first day.

Ready for a life changing experience? Do you have a pre-teen or teen that does not appreciate all that he/she has? Are you looking for a way to give back internationally but can not afford or have the time to do a 2 week missionary trip overseas?
You need to visit our kids living at a Baja orphanage for a one day trip on a beautiful charter bus along with 50 others friends from Southern California and beyond. All we ask is that you pay $40 to help cover trip cost, bring your passport to get back home and most importantly, send a message to the kids that you took the time to visit and that someone cares.
Our next trip is April 16. Please see the PHOTOS from our previous trip to El Faro and Los Angelitos and join us but please hurry, as this trip will sell out.

- Kids Helping Kids: Kudos to Chloe Chung of Tesoro High School for organizing an ice skating event & Girl Scout cookie sales promotion to help the orphanages this month. If you want to do a fund raising event for us, here are some cool IDEAS.
- We Need Computers For the Orphanages: New PC's would be super, but used. intact, operational, recent model desktop or laptops would be OK. Our students get lower grades because they do not have adequate or enough computers to do their homework. Click HERE for used computer specifications. Can you help?
- Office Volunteers: We need help in our Irvine office for administrative volunteers. Responsible and reputable friends with accounting background and detail oriented skills are needed. A perfect position for a retiree.
