Message from Hilda Pacheco-Taylor, Founder & President of the Corazon de Vida Foundation
Dear Corazon de Vida Angels;
As this year comes to a close, we are thankful for all of you, our Angels. You have selflessly given your time, talents and treasures to ensure the well being of our kids in Baja.
Together we have made life a little less painful for hundreds of kids that through no fault of their own have had to endure loss, abuse, and abandonment. Please continue to keep the children in your thoughts and prayers and continue to help bring awareness to the need so close to us. We see a future where every teenager/young adult leaving the orphanage has the education and preparation needed to provide for themselves and their families... together we can achieve that.
Today, we give thanks and acknowledge the blessings we have received and we know that the Corazon de Vida Foundation would not exist if it weren't for you. May God's blessings continue to flow to you and to the children in this coming year.

Los Angelitos & El Faro Orphanage Trip

Join us for our first trip of 2011 as we visit the Los Angelitos & El Faro orphanages in Tijuana. There will be a Quinceanera at Angelitos and at El Faro, we will celebrate January birthday's for both the volunteers and the children.
Don't miss the bus and register early please. For a $40 trip fee, we will share a delicious lunch with the children, do an exciting craft project, travel in a beautiful charter bus, and best of all, send a message to the kids that we care.
We can make arrangements for your church, corporate, and group to visit the children. Celebrate your birthday, anniversary, or wedding at an orphanage. It will be the best day ever.

Our dedicated donors and sponsors have raised over $45k this quarter and we are getting nearer to our $75k goal. We are heading into our slowest time of the year for donations and we really need to make sure our 750 kids have enough to eat.

Some Of Our Achievements In 2010

- Quality of life improvements at many homes: school bus repairs, well water purification, new beds, bathroom remodel, housing upgrades
- Medical/Dental: Formed partnerships with doctors to provide low cost medical care. Performed 6 medical & dental missions to treat over 500 children.
- Education: Provided uniforms, shoes, material, and school fee support to over 450 children. Career Day for 150 future leaders. Assisted students to enter universities and medical school.
- New Partnerships: DIF (Mexican child services), Universities (scholarships, mentoring), Vendors (Clinics, transportation), Food Banks, Community Service Groups
With your help, we will continue to provide life sustaining support to over 750 children living at 14 orphanages.
