CDV Online Donation Campaign
Most of you know first hand the work that Corazon de Vida is able to do with your donations. You have visited our homes and have seen our kids go from fear and despair to joy, wonder and possibility. To continue our good work, we need your help now more than ever! We need to raise life-sustaining support for these kids and the easiest, most fun way to do that is by creating your own online pledge campaign. Do you have a birthday coming up? Have your friends donate to CDV instead of a tie or purse! Running a race? Collect pledges from family and friends to support you. Are you going to join us on an orphanage trip? Build a pledge page to help us support the kids after your visit.

CDV Highlights
The kids need hugs and laps to sleep on!
Join us on our very popular orphanage trip to visit the kids for a day. We bring lunch, craft, travel in a comfortable bus and partake in a day you will never forget. The children will give you a BIG hug and thank for visiting them. Our next trip is Saturday, April 18 to Hacienda. For more information and to register online, click HERE.
CDV can also do a private trip for your church, work, club, or group. Have your next company meeting at an orphanage and give back to others. This is the best company moral boost you will ever have. For more information, email trips@corazondevida.org.
Career Day
We are having our second Career Day on Saturday May 9 in Ensenada, Mexico. Over 150 students from our 5 southern homes will attend and listen to 10 Mexican professionals, including teachers, firemen, paramedics, graphic designer, psychologist, wine makers, health care, and small business owners. We need your help to sponsor a child for Career Day for $35.00. Education is the key to ending child homelessness. Help us give hope to an orphan child.

CDV- MORE THAN JUST FEEDING KIDS!
We continue to make great strides getting our children an education. A recent victory:
La Roca Library
Thanks to Reed Elsevier of San Diego and the RE Cares Program, the La Roca library is in full swing. Librarian Maria Luisa conducts classes, internet training and reading courses for the La Roca Elementary School. We are building future leaders who will remember the kind donors who gave them a chance to learn and make something of their lives. Check these blog entries to learn more:
