I Do Foundation
The I Do Foundation will donate a percentage of your wedding gift registry purchases to CDV from stores like Bloomindales, REI, Crate & Barrel, Macy's and many more. If you are getting married and going to have an online gift registry, please do it through the I Do Foundation and select CDV as the beneficiary. No additional cost to the purchaser, except that your gift will help feed kids too.

We really need your help this year! The economy, recession, and more kids arriving at the orphanages is taking a toll on our ability to provide sufficient food, utility, housing, medical and education support to our 750 + children. CDV Orphanage Trip Update
Due to an overwhelming demand from our sponors, donors, and volunteers, the Corazon de Vida Foundation Board of Directors has decided to reinstate our monthly orphanage bus trips starting on March 28, 2009. Please read our statement regarding our trips for more information.

CDV- MORE THAN JUST FEEDING KIDS!
We continue to make great strides getting our children an education. A recent victory:
- The Hacienda orphanage is getting a new school room, computer lab and library for the primary school that is on site. Chris Snider, a Woodbury University student, is making his architect thesis come to life. They break ground this month, but he still needs funding to buy new computers, student desks and other class room materials. To help Chris make his dream come to life and educate a child, please email info@corazondevida.org.

- Madhi Chebbi, a 9th grade student at Vistamar School in West Los Angeles decided to "Have a Party, Feed Kids". He got his parent's permission, invited family and his friends, charged an "admission" and raised $300.00 to help feed kids. If we all followed Madhi's footsteps, we would make a BIG difference for the children. Have a Party, Feed Kids!
- Robbie LevisFitzgerald, age 8, Edison Elementary School in Santa Monica, said "Instead of gifts for my 8th birthday, I want to have a party and give gifts to children who are cold, hungry, and poor." On February 21, Robbie had his birthday party and his kind friends bought blankets, pillows, sheets from Target and donating funds to help buy food. Have a Party, Feed Kids!
- Jan Huisking of Holovision, Inc for their generous donation to provide a psychologist for the Hacienda Orphanage. An opportunity for the children to open up is very important and will help them immensely.
- Flood Church of San Diego for their monthly commitment to El Faro that helps CDV pay for food and utility payments.
- Rude Monkey & Be The Cause for your February fundraisers in Los Angeles and New York to benefit the kids. If you would like to have a third party event to help feed kids, we can help. Email info@corazondevida.org to learn how we can make your charity fund raising event a success.
- Our CDV child sponsors who continue to help us with our mission to feed and support 750 children living at 14 Baja orphanages - we could not do it without you!
