Recipe of the Month: Pumpkin Pie

Photo by Scott Philips for Fine Cooking Magazine, 2005.
Fine Cooking Pumpkin Pie
As many of you know, Jessica Bard food-styled for Fine Cooking magazine for a several years.  This pumpkin pie was not only one of her favorites shots to style but a favorite to do for our cooking demonstrations and classes (and to eat, of course!)
The detailed instructions have you make the sumptuous, all-butter crust in your stand mixer! And you roll it out right away!

There are tips on how to cut the "leaves,"  OR you can use a leaf cutter- We happen to sell a nicely-shaped one here at WKC; it's part of a 7-piece leaf set from Ateco for only $11.80.

Okay- we're just going to give you a hot-link to the recipe directly on the Fine Cooking web site. There's a nice button there to make a printer-friendly version. And it's great site to visit for all your holiday recipes!
