In February, Ciao Magazine organized an exciting one-week Winnipeg Dine-About event featuring exclusive fixed price menus at over 35 of the best restaurants in the city, including The Ground Floor urban diner.
Due to the overwhelming popularity of this event, The Ground Floor will be rekindling this special event from March 26th to April 1st!
For $25 per person, you can enjoy a delicious Home Made dinner that includes your choice of our famous Chicken Soup with Matzo Balls & Potsticker Dumpling or Sweet Potato Fries, Cajun Chicken Fettucine or 10oz New York Striploin Steak and Apple Pie a la Mode - all made from scratch in our own kitchen.  Proud to be the Official Hotel Sponsor of the 2010 Canadian Tour Players Cup Place Louis Riel Suite Hotel will play host to professional golfers competing for The Canadian Tour Players Cup from July 12 to 18, 2010 at Pine Ridge Golf Course in Winnipeg.
The Players Cup is one of the two biggest golf events in Canada and creates an opportunity for golf fans to see not only the top PGA TOUR prospects in Canada but many of the top young prospects from more than a dozen countries around the world.

Susan Bjerring has been a vibrant member of the Front Office team at Place Louis Riel since June 2006. If you've stayed with us since then, you've probably met Susan, and you definitely remember her. She's hard to forget!
Susan has a kind, caring, fun and quirky style all her own, bringing smiles to the faces of guests and co-workers alike.
