 Meet Russ Hanson
Business Development Manager
Place Louis Riel is pleased to welcome Business Development Manager Russ Hanson to the hotel's executive team.
Russ is a native Winnipegger and, along with his wife of 18 years and 3 children, he is still proud to call Winnipeg home. Having travelled extensively, Russ still considers Winnipeg one of the best places to live, work and play.
While new to the Hospitality Industry, Russ has worked in sales and business development for most of his career, since graduating from the University of Manitoba in 1987 with a Master of Arts degree. He began in professional sales in 1988 with the university/college educational division of the largest international publisher of the time.
Russ experience includes the Government of Canada working on special projects, a founding partner in an export-market development brokerage and consultancy, and Director of Business Development with an image supplies manufacturer, where he promoted branded, private-label, and control-label solutions to the largest wholesalers and retail distributors in North America.
Today Russ is excited to be working with the Place Louis Riel team, where he brings the benefit of successful cross-industry experience to the task of making Place Louis Riel the hotel-of-choice for savvy and discriminating corporate clientele. |
