LAST LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT
Greetings Everyone!
I hope you enjoyed our sneak preview last month of the St. Louis International Film Festival, what a treat it was talking with the filmmakers and watching clips of some of the upcoming local films. The film festival was outstanding this year and a great time was had by all. Congratulations to all the filmmakers and thanks to all the audiences who came out to enjoy the films. Chris Clark and Cinema St. Louis, it was a great time with great guests and terrific programming. Speaking for myself, I had a wonderful time volunteering, being a movie watcher and enjoying all the parties. The great conversations were simply inspiring.
Thanksgiving has passed and reminded us all what to be thankful for and what is important to us. I want to take a moment to thank all of you on our newsletter list who come to our meetings, and take part in them.
It has been my very great honor to serve as President of the St. Louis Chapter of MCA this year. I am grateful to have served and look forward to passing the torch to the next MCA president in the new year. I have had a wonderful time at every meeting, talking with all of you, those of you that show up every month, and those of you I met for the first time. We are so excited about the wonderful meetings we are planning for you next year. But this month, we are celebrating MCA and you. This is the time of year we show you our appreciation by throwing you a party. Come and celebrate with us at Llywelyn's in Webster Groves.
Thanks to all of you that come to our meetings and spread the word. I have been honored to learn from our guests and attendees at each and every meeting.
I hope you all have a wonderful holiday season, and great things come your way! I look forward to seeing you at the party and in the coming year.
