| NEXT MCA MEETING...NOVEMBER 10
SNEAK PREVIEW: 18th ANNUAL ST. LOUIS INT'L FILM FEST Our Annual Panel, With Some of St. Louis' Top Producers & Directors
... plus FREE Admission & FREE Food!
The Whittaker St. Louis International Film Festival gets bigger and better every year -- and this year may be the largest line-up of locally-shot and produced films yet. Everything from the George Clooney-Paramount blockbuster, "Up in the Air", shot here earlier this year, to over 25 films with local connections.
This year, the MCA is partnering with the film festival to bring you a sneak preview of some of these films, along with a panel of directors and producers. We'll be showing trailers and asking some of the tough questions about financing, casting, filming, and distribution.
This is usually our most popular meeting of the year -- and to top it all off, we're waiving our usual door donation -- so there will be FREE admission and FREE food (courtesy of AmerenUE).
NOTE: We are meeting on the second TUESDAY of the month, rather than the second WEDNESDAY (our normal meeting time).
WHEN: Tuesday, November 10... Networking begins at 6:30 pm and meeting begins at 7:00 pm
WHERE: Centene Center for Arts and Education, 3547 Olive in Grand Center
COST: FREE for everyone! (Plus FREE food!)
DIRECTIONS: Highway 40/64 or 44 to Grand. North on Grand to Lindell. Turn right and go one block to where Olive merges into Lindell. Turn Left (it's almost a U-turn) and drive up Olive one block to the Centene Center.
See you on November 10!! |
