Gracewood Design participated in the restoration of The Hamilton Grange, the home of Alexander Hamilton located in NY. The home, open to the public after the extensive 5-year project, has been awarded the Lucy G. Moses Preservation Award, presented by The New York Landmarks Conservancy. For their part of the project, Gracewood produced and installed three floorcloths for the home. Read about their process and see photos here.
New AHC Board Member, Tracy Prince has been awarded the 2012 Historic Preservation Award from the Northwest Examiner. A quote from The Examiner: "Tracy Prince, author of "Portland's Goose Hollow", wrote an exceptionally comprehensive and enlightening illustrated history of her neighborhood. The book has added substantially to the public record, exploring the neighborhood's evolution on social, architectural, and economic levels." If you are an active member or business member of the AHC, we want to hear about it when you win a preservation related award, have your work honored in an exhibit, have your restored home featured in a magazine.
