End of Year Donations

Exceeded Goal!

A big thank you to the 166 generous donors and new, upgraded, and re-joining members who made the AHC's annual appeal such a success!

Thanks to you, we surpassed our $25,000 goal by $5,145 to date for a very grand total of $30,145 for advocacy, education, and collections stewardship.

These donations will especially help in 2012 as we transition out of our three-year National Trust "Partners in the Field" grant for advocacy. Additional contributions are of course welcome and needed to support AHC activities and outreach in the coming year but please congratulate yourselves for helping get 2012 off to a great start!

The residence of Dr. Kenneth A.J. and Cora Mackenzie, now the William Temple House, has delighted observers with its intriguing design and exceptional craftsmanship ever since its completion in 1892. Acclaimed as a masterwork of Whidden and Lewis, this presentation makes the case that this Portland landmark was actually designed by another firm, McCaw and Martin.
