| Spring into action for the AHC - become a volunteer!
First Friday Gallery set up and take down -- Volunteers are needed to assist our guest artists with set up and take down of their exhibits each month. Our next set up is May 5.
Collections Volunteer -- Work with the artifacts to prepare them for storage or exhibits, help catalogue our collection. Data Entry Volunteer -- Interested in helping the AHC on a regular basis? A volunteer is needed to help with data entry 2-3 hours per week. We will help you with instructions and training.

We regularly accept applications for
exhibitions and a First Friday reception from artists who are members
of the AHC. Our art exhibitions represent a variety of mediums and
subject matter, and are a great way for our members to share their work with the public.

Shake, Rattle, and Roll: Everything You Need to Know about Earthquakes and Your Vintage Home
Saturday, April 24th 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. General Public: $13, Members: $18
It's not OUR "fault" the Portland metro region is a seismically-sensitive area. There has been a great deal of media attention about the coming "big one"- that earthquake we all need to plan for. Fortunately, there are techniques you can use to make your home safer in the event of an earthquake.
In the interest of protecting your own vintage home, this is an important and timely program.

"DINE OUT" FOR THE AHC ON APRIL 27
Please join us on the evening of Tuesday, April
27th at Old Town
Pizza Vanport Village for a "Dine Out" fundraising
event. This "Dine Out" will be a little different than those in the past as
attendees will need to present a voucher at the restaurant (5201 NE MLK Jr.
Blvd.). For every voucher presented, the BMF/AHC will receive 30% of the food &
beverage tab. Spread the word to friends, family members,
colleagues -- the more the merrier. Dollars raised help support AHC programs,
collections stewardship, and advocacy. Thank you, Old Town
