Dear , As 2011 comes to a close, I am pleased to report that the Islamic Speakers Bureau (ISB) of Atlanta can again point to another successful year. Against the growing wave of Islamophobia, we have continued to reach out, whether it be one person at a time or one organization at a time, to educate our fellow Americans on the shared values we Muslims have with the other faith traditions. As we approach the holiday season, I would like to send my wishes of Happy Hanukkah and Merry Christmas to our fellow Jewish and Christian brothers and sisters. During this holiday season, let us continue to focus on the underlying message of love and kinship that all major religions share. Let us continue to focus on the important messages that serve to humanize and unite us as humans. As we look ahead at 2012, we will continue to reach out and forge ties with other organizations, expand partnerships, and increase engagements in the community. In that respect, it will be more important than ever that our supporters continue to back ISB, whether that takes the form of volunteering or financially underwriting our important work. As the ISB continues its work in building community ties, I ask that you remember that our work is only possible through the generous backing and contribution of our friends and supporters. You can make a secure online donation through our website or mail a check to ISB Atlanta, P.O. Box 2608, Peachtree City, GA 30269. All donations are tax deductible. Wishing you all a blessed holiday season and a joyous New Year!

| ISB's Executive Director Attends First Atlanta Women Clergy Gathering |
ISB's Executive Director Soumaya Khalifa attended the first gathering of Atlanta Women Clergy on December 13.
The intent of the gathering, which took place at The Temple, was for the clergy women and other faith leaders to meet one another, study text together, and talk about their professional and personal goals for their work.
"We are keen to ascertain whether there is interest in strengthening one another's work in repairing our world or perhaps we'll start with just this community of which we are a part," said Ellen Nemhauser, one of the event's organizers.
