Each of us has something to be thankful for this year. Despite all the challenges you've been through, God has a plan for your life and He will provide for all your needs.
As we celebrate Thanksgiving, this is a time to give thanks to the Lord for all he's given us. As a nation and as a church, we are blessed beyond many others. We want to thank you for being a part of what God is doing at Faith Temple!
We are very excited to build your new church, and we know that God has a way for each of us to help. In order to build Phase One of our Master Plan, we need your faithful financial support each month, in addition to your tithes. The tithes we receive go to cover regular operating expenses throughout the year, but they don't cover building expenses.
With your help, we can build together. Based on current projections, we expect to have a shovel in the ground by the end of 2010!
Building Your Future is an opportunity for you and your family to invest into your future. Anytime you sacrifice for God, you can be assured (according to God's word) that He will bless you back with the same measure that you give.
In 2 Corinthians 8:3-5 the church gave beyond their ability because of the grace of God on their lives during this important time:
"For I bear witness that according to their ability, yes, and beyond their ability, they were freely willing, imploring us with much urgency that we would receive the gift and the fellowship of the ministering to the saints. And not only as we had hoped, but they first gave themselves to the Lord, and then to us by the will of God."
Where to Begin
Start by asking the Lord how much He wants for you to give - an amount that requires faith to achieve. This means look to God as your source for wisdom and creativity.
God not only shows you what to do, but He shows you how to do it.
Proverbs 16:9 says "a man's heart plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps."
Once God reveals the amount to you and you give, He will show you (sometimes week to week) how to achieve the goal.
