Welcome to our first issue!
This e-zine is designed to support those of you that are writing and maintaining your own e-zine/ e-newsletters and for those of you that are considering doing so. My goal is to help you create interesting, visually dynamic marketing materials that stand out in your client's crowded inbox.
Each issue will be filled with practical tips and graphic add-ons to make your publications visually unique and writing advice to help make your content more interesting and useful for your readers. You will also meet guest experts offering insights on how to write more effectively, think more creatively and how to make the most of your marketing efforts. A calendar of my upcoming classes and one-on-one sessions will be posted with basic classes for those of you looking for an introduction to the world of e-news and advanced classes for those of you looking to take your online message to the next level.
In all, it will be a helping hand, delivered right to you each month, to help you create dynamic, effective, customized marketing materials for YOUR business.  This month's tip: Use your own colors and images wherever possible, to uniquely brand your online marketing materials.
Constant Contact provides excellent tools for online marketing. I am a huge fan and highly recommend their products. Their templates are easy to use and have become quite popular. One might say, 'too popular'. Many companies are now using their templates and stock images. CC does not provide statistics on which templates are most popular but suffice it to say, if you have seen a template before, there is a good chance that your client/ customer has as well! Don't risk being mistaken for someone else - modify a template to make it your own. Use your logo. Use the colors of your website. Add a photo of yourself and your product. Use photos of people using and loving your product. Include images of your events. The goal to get your unique message out, to make sure that your recipient's know who You are and what You are offering. Uniquely brand your materials to ensure that they are not mistaken for someone else's! |
