Spring is Here!!!!
 
I don't know about you, but I am one of those people that totally perks up as the days get longer!   I can just FEEL the days lengthening, the sun a bit stronger, the breezes a little warmer and I LOVE it!  I hope that you are enjoying this wonderful transition as well.
 
Here in the studio, we have all sorts of new Spring and Summer jewels ready to get you into a sunnier mood!   There are new stamp pendants, chain styles, extra long necklaces, shimmering pearls, bold lampwork bracelet colors, triple strand pieces and delicate necklaces too!  There are new designs and styles, colors and materials.  Come join us in celebrating the season!  Our next show will be Friday, April 4th from 6 - 9 pm and Saturday, April 5th from 10 am - 6 pm at 146 Irving Ave in South Orange, please stop by and take a look!

New Base Metal Options!
 
This season we have lots of great base metal chain and, by special request, a few new COPPER pieces!  There are beautiful pendants with a montage of copper, brass and sterling silver details, new extra long multi-strand necklaces and fabulous mixes of metal, stones and beads.  All are really unusual and definitely worth checking out!  Stop by a show or call for scans as I think that many may be gone before they make it to the website!

New Chain Styles and Designs!

 

We have a bunch of exciting new chain designs and styles for Spring and Summer! 

 

There are beautiful sterling silver and gold vermeil (gold over sterling) necklaces in all lengths, sizes and shapes to  work with almost anything in your closet to create a fun new Spring and Summer look, as well as some (inexpensive!) base metal pieces - one in a cool gun metal color - which look great with the colorful bold fashions so popular this season! 

 

There are also some creative bead and chain mixes that are sure to appeal to those of you looking for a fun splash of Spring! 

 

Come on in and try a few on for size - they really do look very different on each person. It is a lot of fun to see them all and to find the one that is most flattering!

Recycling Corner

Just a reminder for those of you that bought great long necklaces from me a few seasons ago - now is the time to dig them out and layer them with some other (or new) necklaces for a great Spring look!

Pearls are IN! 

Generally, a pearl necklace makes me think of on old-fashioned, graduated,  pearl necklace sitting inside a peter pan collar.  Very traditional, right?  Well this season's pearls are WAY more exciting and glam!

The way to do pearls for Spring is by mixing it up.  Don't just go for basic whites - try a pink or bronze pearl.  Look for necklaces that combine other links and stones with the pearls to modern them up.   Charles Nolan is showing big, oversized pearls this Spring with bright colored beads - very downtown for pearls!  And finally, the best way I've seen them so far - mixed with a chain necklace that combines pretty and punky all in one. 

And right now for Spring, pearls feel right just because they lighten up the mood with their luminescent colors and soft shapes.  So mix and match and have fun with an old favorite to find your own new look.
