9:00 am: Open Meetings and Municipal Finance presented by Rob Bush and Adam Simon from Ancel Glink.

 

10:15 am: Mayor Joe Mancino (Hawthorn Woods) and Manager Chris Martin (Lake Barrington) will discuss how to work with staff and elected officials.

 

11:15 am: Marty Buehler, Lake DOT director, will discuss Transportation projects in Lake County.

Emergency Preparedness Saturday, June 11 

 

Join a forum on preparedness and the public and private sector response to disasters on June 11 at Grainer Headquarters, 100 Grainger Parkway, Lake Forest. Global preparedness expert Lt. General Russel Honore (ret.) will discuss Leadership and Preparedness in the 21st Century.

 

  • 7:30-8:30 am - registration and continental breakfast
  • 8:30-11:00 am - Keynote speaker and panel discussion with experts from the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, Emergency Management, medical community and Grainger.  
  • 11:00 am-1:00 pm - lunch, hazmat decontamination demo and public safety exhibit.
