The LCML Newly-Elected Officials Workshop will beheld on Saturday, June 4, at the Mundelein Police Department from 8:30-noon. Newly-elected officials as well as seasoned veterans are invited. Watch for more details.

Water, water everywhere. Is there enough to drink? 

 

Join the Lake County Municipal League for a comprehensive discussion on water at the May 19 meeting. Topics water rippleinclude: 

  • What is water worth to residents?
  • Are you charging correctly?
  • What proactive conservation measures can you adopt?
Dr. Tim Loftus, Principal Planner, Water Resources, for CMAP will be the speaker. We will also discuss the status of the new Lake Michigan Water Consortium.

The meeting will be held at Rivera's Restaurant, 1745 Northwind Blvd, Libertyville (across the street from the Libertyville Sports Center).

LCMAC May 14 Meeting   

Do you know what services are available to returning veterans? You can learn what is available at the Lake County Military Advisory Council Quarterly Meeting on Saturday, May 14, at the Lake County Permit Center, 700 W. Winchester Rd., Libertyville. Mike Peck, Lake County Veterans Services Commission, and Ted Testa, Lake-McHenry Veterans and Family Strategic Initiative, will discuss how communities can assist returning veterans and their families.  

 

The meeting will start with breakfast at 8:30 am. The program will begin at 9:00 am. Please RSVP to Chris Gentes, lcml@sbcglobal.net or (847) 270-3126.

RTAMS - Regional Transit Asset Management System

 

The RTA has developed a Regional Transit Asset Management System which provides a wide range of information on public transportation systems. 

Examples of data include:
  • ridership statistics
  • political jurisdiction/transit summaries
  • funding programs
  • stations, routes and lines
  • sales tax
  • interactive mapping
  • travel patterns
  • capitol projects

PEG Seminar   

 

DuPage Mayors and Managers is hosting a full day PEG seminar to help municipalities prepare for franchise renewals and municipal access channel planning. The Seminar will be held on May 10 from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm at the Woodridge Village Hall, 5 Plaza Drive.
