Tools to Confront Vacant Property Challenge

The Metropolitan Mayors Caucus invites you to attend a meeting to learn about the most effective tools municipalities can use to confront the vacant property challenge. The meeting will be held on Monday, January 24 at 9:30 am at the Buffalo Grove Village Hall, 50 Raupp Blvd.

Business and Professional People for the Public Interest (BPI) will lead the discussion. You'll hear about nine tools that reduce the impact of vacant properties and promote healthy, vibrant neighborhoods.

Staff from BPI and the Mayors Caucus, will be available to provide pro bono assistance as you work to develop and implement the programs that are most appropriate for your community.

We encourage you to bring one or two key staff people who would be involved in program development and implementation, so that they can participate in this hands-on discussion. Please RSVP to Allison Milld at amilld@mayorscaucus.org or (312) 201-4507.
