Illinois is Broke Coalition at Sept. 16 LCML meeting
Learn what Illinois needs to do to close the gap in its budget. Dea Meyer, Executive Vice President of the Civic Committee of the Commercial Club of Chicago, will be the featured speaker at the September 16 LCML Membership Meeting. She will discuss how to get the State on a 5-year budge plan and the constitutionality of reforming pensions for the current State employees.

IDOT Highway program comments
The Illinois Department of
Transportation (IDOT) Division
of Highways is seeking
comments from regional planning organizations on the proposed
2012-17 multi-year highway program. Comments will be accepted until
5:00 p.m. on November 1.
As you know Phase 1 Engineering Funding for the Route 120 Bypass was left off of IDOT's list.
People may
comment on specific projects that might be included in the program, the
overall performance of the highway system, regional transportation
priorities, and the effectiveness of the public outreach program at the following meeting:
- Thursday, September 16
- 3:00 p.m.
- College of Lake County, 10351 W.
Washington St., Building C, Grayslake
Comment sheets will be provided for those in attendance who wish
