Bring your sweetheart to Chroma for love songs, pink bubbles, and mini cupcakes. We hope that you will join us on Thursday, February 7th, from 5-8pm for an opening dedicated to "Love & Art". We will toast the artists and the new year with pink bubbles and cupcakes donated by the Cupcake Emporium.
 IKEDA LOWE
Ikeda's beautifully abstracted landscapes were inspired by her beloved homeland, Japan. She has created these new works by using Japanese papers, thread, and oil paint on canvas. Ikeda also will exhibit her Takachiho Gorge 24"x36" ever popular iridescent watercolors. PENELOPE MOORE Penelope has been hard at work this winter, trying to finish these petite pieces before she devoured the models. She has managed to capture the sweets in a way that allows the viewer to enjoy them without gaining weight, yet she retained all the mouth-watering details. A Sweet Treat indeed! Kiss and Tell, 20" x 9 1/2" Oil on Canvas Cupcakes delightfully donated by: The Cupcake Emporium 6 East State Street Savannah, GA. 912-341-8014 |
NEW WORKS

Jan Clayton Pagratis
Jan's new work is colorful and playful, full of gesture and jewel-like colors. They are reminiscent of gardens with small flying things. One of the new pieces measures 5ft by 10ft, her largest painting to date, and depicts an abstracted bird's-eye-view of the landscape. The title Hibiscus 12"x16" Oil/Canvas "Taking Flight" certainly is apropos.
Cedric Smith
Be sure to read the excellent article about Cedric Smith in the current issue of "The South Magazine". Although many enticing paintings are featured in the article, this piece entitled "Sweetie, Sweet Potatoes" has won a place in our hearts and is currently gracing one of our windows. Sweetie, Sweet Potatoes Congratulations to Cedric. 48"x60" Mixed Media Linda Stokes Linda has a new studio and is taking a deeper look into the woods that have become her trademark. Her new works are large scale and full of color. They provide a feeling of open air and open windows. Encounter 36"x60" Oil /Canvas |
