DecorAsian To Host Business After Hours - January 27th
TOMORROW NIGHT!
Meet and Network with the
best business people in Denver!
Here's a little extra treat for someone who joins us next Wednesday. Someone is going to win Tickets For Two to The 10th Anniversary Taste of Greenwood Village "Road To The Taste" Series as well as tickets to "The Taste" itself. That's a value of over $200!
But that's not all! Exhibitor booths for "Discover Your Own Backyard" Expo May 7th will go on sale at 8:00AM on January 28th. We will draw a name to win a booth at our expense. That's also a $200 value.
Best of all, you could win both! If you win the first drawing, we'll put your name right back in the bowl for the second one!
The only qualification is that you must be on the

RSVP list to be eligible*!
1787 S Broadway
In the heart of "Antiques Row", the stunningly renovated 13,000 Sq. ft. facility is in itself a work of art. Built in 1890, it is a classic "old-west" saloon-style building with an appropriately colorful history. Exposed brick, wood floors, high ceilings, cathedral windows, and the grand staircase combine to create an extraordinary ambiance for Denver's largest collection of eclectic furnishings and other curiosities and collectibles from all over exotic Asia.

There is no charge for this event
Please register for an accurate count of attendees

Working Minds: Mental Resiliency in Tough Times
With mounting economic strain facing our workplace, many organizations are experiencing mental distress that can lead to increased depression, substance abuse and even suicidal behavior. All of these conditions impact the workplace's ability to function well. The good news is there are many ways in which companies can prevent the impact of distress and promote well-being in their workplace environments. Attendees will be able to:
- Appreciate the many ways that mental health conditions impact the workplace
- Identify warning signs and risk factors for people in distress
- Begin to develop a comprehensive approach to promoting mental wellness in the workplace
As a psychologist, mental health advocate, Division of Business faculty and survivor of her brother's suicide, Dr. Sally Spencer-Thomas sees the issues of mental health from many perspectives.
Currently, she is the Executive Director for the Carson J Spencer Foundation, a Colorado-based nonprofit that envisions a world where leaders and communities are dedicated to sustaining a passion for life. She is the founder of Working Minds, the nation's first suicide prevention program exclusively dedicated to suicide prevention in the workplace.
Dr. Spencer-Thomas is a professional speaker who travels nationally and internationally to engage a wide circle of people who want to change the conversation about mental health and suicide including the FBI Academy, the National Conference on Law and Higher Education and the International Association of Suicide Prevention. She currently serves as the Co-Chair Elect for the Suicide Prevention Coalition of Colorado and as the Survivor Division Chair of the American Association of Suicidology. She is the author and co-author of several books on suicide and violence prevention. Her story has been featured on NPR, 9 News, The Rocky Mountain News, and much more.
Doors open at 11:00AM and lunch will be served at 11:30AM
