"When I first heard about the FTC harrassing
Jim and Trish, I knew I was going to help if I could. The thought of
my taxes (and I pay dearly) being used to pay the salary of those punk
lawyers who wouldn't know a vitamin capsule from their laptop computers
really upset me, so going to Washington was not a problem. We felt
good about the situation in the law office of Jim Turner the first day. We
were all planning our remarks for the hearing, but at the
FTC building the next day while we were being watched and escorted by
the Gestapo-- heavily armed guards of the FTC including bulletproof
vests -- it became apparent we were the Daniel of the Daniel and the lion's den biblical story. The corruption in our FDA and FTC is
rampant, all dictated by the big pharma people, always
has been, and they don"t like to hear Jim exposing their actions in
his literature and radio show. I don't know if my testimony helped but
I sure hope the verdict is favorable. But if not, I agree with
Trish: eith er way some good will come out of this mess."
