RENEW WITH NAWBO 
 
With Spring around the corner now is the time to renew your business through NAWBO Delaware
 
Take a fresh look at your business by dusting off your business plan to see if it is still relevant.  If you want to roll up your sleeves and do some serious overhauling check out one of SBA's Survive and Thrive workshops.
 
Renew old relationships and build new business contacts by Networking at our NAWBO sponsored Spring networking Events: March 19 Women in Partnership Mega Networking Event in Newark, April 8 at our Southern Delaware Networking Event in Lewes, and April 24 Bridge the Divide in Dover.  This is your chance to practice your 30 second commercial and effective networking skills. 

Want to learn new skills to increase your business savvy?  Participate in a POWER roundtable co-sponsored with the Center for Entrepreneurship or attend a World Trade Center Program.

Renew your membership if it is time and check our Chapter website and national NAWBO's website and all the many resources available to you as a member.  Not a member?  Then take advantage of our March new member special and join for $25 off the regular price.

2nd Annual Women In Partnership - March 19
Deerfield Golf and Country Club, 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm.  Celebrate Women's history month by attending this mega-networking event co-sponsored by Business Women's Network, National Association of Women in Construction, NAWBO Delaware and Wilmington Women in Business.  This year's event will be bigger than ever!  To register, click here.
 
Southern Delaware NAWBO Networking Event
- April 8th
Saketumi Restaurant, Lewes, Delaware.  5:30 pm -7:30 pm, Members $7, Guests $10.  Come join us at this super event to make new business contacts and meet new friends. Hosted by Tammy Wang from Saketumi Restaurant.  Registration includes hors d'oeuvres and door prizes. Cash bar.

Creating an Entrepreneurial Eco-System - April 16th
Sheraton Suites, 422 Delaware Avenue, Wilmington, DE
7:30 am - 9:00 am, Members $25, Guests $35. Ken Anderson, Director, Entrepreneurial & Small Business Support Delaware Economic Development Office (DEDO). Mr. Anderson will explore the Entrepreneurial Eco-System and its elements and innovative ways that groups like DEDO and the Workforce Investment Board propose to fill in the gaps. Learn about gaps and challenges that hinder small business creation in Delaware and the future for women and minority-owned businesses.

NAWBO Delaware's Annual Dinner

Understand the Legislative Process in Delaware - June 18th
Annual Tour of Legislative Hall and Buffet Luncheon.  Members $35, Guests $45.  Tour begins at 11:00 am.  Luncheon is 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm and will feature, among others, Harold Stafford who will give a presentation on "How to Run for Public Office."  To register, click here.
