NAWBO Delaware Newsletter
January 2009
Message from the President of NAWBO Delaware
by Devona E. G. Williams, Ph.D

Happy New Year!
Reflect, Rethink, Retool
spotlight
The year 2009 is upon us and we are all running hard to keep up with all of the turbulence and excitement expected in the coming year. What's always good about a new year is that it gives us a chance to "do-over" all the things that did not work as well as we liked or to meet our new aspirations. So in typical fashion I offer you 4 NAWBO RE-solutions that you can RE-solve to take in 2009:

  • RE-flect on what went well for your business in 2008, RE-evaluate and RE-tool your business plan accordingly. Utilize the resource partners that are posted on our NAWBO website.
  • RE-connect with NAWBO and RE-ach out to members to build vendor RE-lationships and business referrals. Buy from NAWBO members and list your own business on our Website.
  • RE-educate yourself. Commit to attending our educational programs to learn practical ideas that you can immediately apply to your business. Attend our "Rising to New Heights" conference on January 15 at the Christiana Hilton and other programs throughout the year.
  • RE-energize yourself by getting involved with NAWBO. We have plenty of opportunities to get involved in our committees and in leadership. Contact a board member or committee chair with your interest.
RE-member to write your RE-solutions down to make this stick!
