Greetings!


Visualise, the In-Store Media Specialists, have launched a new blog which will act as an information resource focusing on the emerging and growing in-store media sector (visit the Visualise Blog). The blog will be used to showcase relevant research and articles on in-store media and shopper marketing from around the world.

Early in 2011 Visualise, MCCP and Checkout Magazine decided to pool resources and expertise with a view to researching Shopper Marketing. 

 

MCCP carried out extensive interviews with 14 business/marketing leaders from the largest FMCG companies in Ireland. The aim of this exercise was to examine the development of Shopper Marketing in Ireland.


The project culminated with the Shopper Marketing seminar which was attended by 70 delegates representing the manufacturing, retailing and advertising sectors.

 

As well as the research presented by MCCP, case studies on Charleville Cheese and Fanta were also presented by April Redmond, Marketing Director, Kerry Group and Aedamar Howlett, Country Manager, Coca Cola.

Cadbury C-Store Screens

Cadburys used our C-Store Screen format to promote their new Chocos brand. The campaign ran across our network of 100 of Ireland's busiest convenience stores reaching over 1 million convenience shoppers. The C-Store screens highlighted the product to the shopper directly at the Point of Purchase.

Rowntrees Sour Pastilles C-Store Screens

Rowntrees used our C-Store Screen format to promote their new Sour Pastilles product. Up to 70% of confectionery purchases are impulse purchases. In-Store advertising influences the shopper at the Point of Purchase.

Coke C14 Coca Cola C-Store Screens

Coca Cola ran a C-Store screen campaign in June to highlight their promotion whereby consumers had an opportunity to win Sony Headphones every 15 minutes. This campaign ran in 100 C-Stores including outlets such as Londis and Spar.
Easi Singles Easi Singles Trolley POPAd

Easi Singles ran a large campaign across a number of our Tesco, Dunnes and Superquinn stores in June. Their campaign focused on reminding the consumer not to forget cheese while shopping. Their ad ran at a time when shoppers are thinking of BBQ's in particular.

In the month of June Easi Singles ran a FloorAd campaign across a number of Tesco stores in conjuction with a POPAd campaign. Their artwork was bright and colourful which increased the products in-aisle shelf space.

Denny used a number of POPAd trolley campaigns in June across a number of our retailers to promote their 'Family Fun Days Out' promotion. This promotion gave consumers the chance to obtain '2 for 1' entries to a host of top attractions in Ireland.

In June Low Low ran a POPAd Trolley campaign across Tesco, Dunnes and Superquinn. Their bright and fresh artwork promoted their new Cheddar Spread products and also reinforced the Low Low brand to the consumer.

McCains ran a Entry Point campaign across our Tesco package to inform the consumer about their new product packaging and also included pack shots. The creative and colours in the artwork really helped the Entry Points to catch the consumers eye In-Store.

Charleville ran a nationwide Trolley POPAd campaign across a number of our Supervalu outlets in June. This Trolley POPAd campaign was used to promote Charleville's new Family Value Pack and the artwork also highlighted the excellent price of the product In-Store.
Mr Kipling June Mr Kipling Trolley POPAd

Mr Kipling ran a Trolley POPAd campaign across a number of our  outlets. This campaign was used to promote their Trifle product and also their Rhubarb & Custard pies product.
Cadbury C13 Cadbury Trolley POPAd

Cadbury ran a Trolley POPAd campaign across a number of our Tesco and Dunnes outlets. This Trolley POPAd campaign was used to promote their Snack bar ranges.  Their distinctive coloured artwork made the Trolley POPAd stand out to shoppers In-Store.

In June Cadbury's ran a 3D FloorAd campaign in a number of Tesco stores. This campaign was used to promote the Cadbury Dance Off activity. Their promotion and strong colours on the artwork really helped the brand and its product promotion to stand out to the shopper In-Store.

Avonmore Avonmore Entry Points

In June Avonmore ran an Entry Point campaign across in selected Tesco stores nationwide. The artwork for their Entry Points was focused around their Whipped Cream product. This large In-Store format gave Avonmore huge visibility in the retail store. 

Truly Irish Truly Irish Basket POPAd

Truly Irish used a Basket POPAd campaign across a number of our  Tesco outlets in May. This Basket POPAd campaign focused on their price promo and alerted consumers to their products that are available In-Store. The Basket POPAd can be used to highlight price promotions on products that the basket shopper would purchase.

Old El Paso ran a POPAd campaign to promote their product range to the consumer market.The creative and colours in the artwork really helped the POPAd to catch the consumers eye In-Store. This national trolley campaign featured across a number of Dunnes and Tesco outlets.

Jameson Irish Whiskey's 'Easygoing' advertising campaign which depicts Jameson drinkers as easygoing people was brought in-store last month with the installation of a large bear trap FloorAd with a bottle of Jameson as bait installed in select Tesco outlets.

IDL Summer MixSummer Mix FloorAd

 

'The Perfect Mix' is the latest In-Store FloorAd campaign from Irish Distillers/Pernod Ricard. The FloorAd campaign was run in select Tesco outlets showing their selection of spirits that would suit long drinks during the summer months.


LyonsLyons Entry Points

 

Lyons used our Entry Point format in June to highlight an opportunity to win a family trip to Disneyland Paris. This promotion was done in conjunction with Tesco clubcard.

Fanta TrolleyFanta Trolley POPAd

 

Fanta ran a Trolley POPAd campaign in June across Tesco and Dunnes outlets. Their campaign artwork focused on highlighting to the consumer that Fanta was made from real fruit and contained no artificial flavours or colours. Their strong In-Store presence was supported by a FloorAd campaign in Tesco.

Fanta's 3D FloorAd campaign in June ran in Tesco outlets and highlighted the presence of Fanta products In-Store. The FloorAd helped give the product extra in-aisle shelf space and the 3D artwork really stood out on the shop floor to the consumers.

Visa ran a Basket POPAd campaign in June across Tesco and Dunnes outlets in the ROI. Their campaign artwork focused on highlighting to the shopper their chance to win Prepaid Visa cards worth up to €200 every day for a specified period.  
haagen dazs Haagen Dazs FloorAd

 

Haagen Dazs ran a FloorAd campaign in June in Tesco outlets to highlight their promotion whereby consumer could 'win a date with a celebrity' and other fun prizes. The FloorAd also helped increase the products in-aisle presence.  
Aero June Aero Trolley POPAd

 

Aero ran a large campaign on 3 In-Store formats in June. Nestle used these campaigns to highlight the presence of their new Aero Biscuit product In-Store. The Trolley POPAd helped give the new product huge coverage In-Store and the colourful artwork really stood out.

Nestle used the Basket POPAd in Tesco and Dunnes outlets. This strong In-Store presence was supported by a FloorAd and Trolley POPAd campaign to promote their new Aero biscuit product

Nestle ran a FloorAd campaign in June in Tesco outlets and it really helped to highlight the presence of their new Aero Biscuit product In-Store. The FloorAd helped give the product extra in-aisle shelf space and the colourful artwork really stood out in front of the new product on sale.    
Vodafone June Vodafone Trolley POPAd

 

Vodafone are using the Trolley POPAds in selected Dunnes outlets nationwide to promote their 'Free Internet' campaign that is available when consumers top up by €20/month.
Dettol Dettol Entry Points

 

Dettol used the Entry Point format in June to promote their new product; a No Touch Hand Soap System. The Entry Points provided Dettol with a large In-Store format to promote their new product and informed the consumer of this products availabilty In-Store.
Heineken Heineken FloorAd

 

In the recent Heineken FloorAd campaign, consumers were informed that they could chill their cans for free all weekend at Oxygen. This campaign ran in the BWS aisle in select Tesco outlets.
Nature Valley Nature Valley Trolley POPAd

 

Nature Valley ran a Trolley POPAd campaign to highlight their brands products In-Store to help increase sales at the same time. This Trolley POPAd campaign ran across Tesco and Dunne's outlets in June.
