Visualise, the In-Store Media Specialists, have launched a new website and an accompanying blog which will act as an information resource focusing on the emerging and growing in-store media
sector (visit the Visualise Blog). The blog will be used to showcase relevant research and articles on in-store media and shopper
marketing from around the world.

This weeks blog post features a comprehensive step-by-step guide to Shopper Marketing. The research was undertaken in the USA where Shopper Marketing as a discipline is becoming more advanced and sophisticated. The main thrust of the research points to the fact that a shopper marketing programme cannot be developed in isolation. It must be an integrated part of the brands overall marketing strategy.

Ultimately, Shopper Marketing is paying big dividends for the companies who are doing the following:

  • Continuously studying the behaviour of shoppers and consumers
  • Integrating these insights into their overall marketing plan
  • Sharing these insights with their retail partners and in doing so both partners are developing campaigns that benefit everyone, including the shopper/consumer

Nestle Cereals Trolley POPAd

Nestle Cereals ran a large campaign across our Tesco network. Their campaign was focused on the launch of their new breakfast cereal product "Chocapic". The Trolley POPAd campaign was used to inform the customers In-Store of the new product available.

Panadol Trolley POPAd

Panadol Trolley POPAd

Panadol ran on a national POPAd Trolley campaign across all retail outlets. This campaign focused on their 'Most Powerful Cold and Flu' hot remedy product. Their campaign ran at a time when shoppers were feeling the cold weather and their brand message on the POPAd alerted shoppers to their product In-Store.

Robinsons Fruit Shoot

For the first cycle of the new year Robinsons used a POPAd Trolley campaign across a number of our Tesco stores to promote their Fruit Shoot product. The POPAd included products shots and focused on highlighting to the shopper that they should include their product as part of a fun lunch.
LowLow POPAd Trolley

Low Low Trolley POPAd

For the first cycle of the year Low Low ran a POPAd Trolley campaign across all the retail outlets. Their bright and fresh artwork promoted their new product packaging and also reinforced the brand message to the consumer that their product still has 'the same great taste'.

Denny Trolley POPAd

Denny ran a national Trolley POPAd campaign in conjunction with a Tesco FloorAd campaign. This campaign ran across our Dunnes, Tesco and Supervalu outlets and highlighted a fantastic product promotion where shoppers could purchase 20 sausages for just €3. The Trolley POPAd can play a crucial role in helping to drive product sales In-Store.

Denny ran a nationwide FloorAd campaign across our Tesco outlets. The FloorAd highlighted their exciting product promotion and along with the Trolley POPAd campaign our In-Store formats really gave Denny great presence In-Store to push this promotion.   The FloorAd also helped give their brand an increased in-aisle shelf space.
Uncle Bens POPAd C2

Uncle Bens Trolley POPAd

Uncle Bens ran a large nationwide Trolley POPAd campaign across our Dunnes and Supervalu retail outlets. This Trolley POPAd campaign was used to promote an Uncle Bens promotion where shoppers received a free Wok when they purchased any 3 Uncle Bens 500g products. Their bright and distinctive artwork made the Trolley POPAd stand out to shoppers In-Store and drew their attention to the special promotion taking place.

In January Charleville ran a nationwide POPAd campaign across all of our retail outlets. This campaign focused on their red cheddar products. They went with two artworks for this campaign.  Once again the Charleville artworks really helped the brand to stand out on the POPAd and make the shopper think about purchasing their product In-Store.

Charleville used a FloorAd campaign across our Tesco outlets to compliment their Trolley POPAd campaign. Their strong coloured artwork helped the FloorAd to stand out and grab the shoppers attention In-Store. FloorAds were strategically placed at the entrance to the Dairy aisle as a welcome mat from Charleville.
