I am amazed that tomorrow is the Winter Solstice. I'm
always happy too. The days will begin to grow longer,
even though there is much cold and snow yet to
come. The sun will again light the sky for a little bit
longer each day
I have been pondering 2007
a lot lately; thinking about what I have accomplished
and those goals (aka New Year's Resolutions) that
are again left uncompleted. I told you that my goal for
2007 was to lose a pound each week. Well, I didn't
get there, but I did lose 20 pounds during the year. I
don't see this as a failure, but I do understand that I
may have set too high a goal considering I am over
50. Also, I was in a cast for 8 weeks during the
summer. I went hiking once with the cast and decided
to use better judgement.
I did accomplish
some things that had nothing to do with New Year's
Resolutions. I climbed Pikes Peak, which was a huge
goal, but one I followed my heart to instead of my
head. And I opened my psychotherapy and life
coaching practice. It just seemed now was the right
time and if I didn't do it now, I never would.
As
2007 comes to a close, I encourage you to look back
on the year and cherish all the wonderful things you
accomplished.
I am excited to begin the new
session of Soul Food! I have some great speakers
lined up for January and February with more to come.
I encourage you to come early, at 11:30, to network
and make new friends.
During this Holiday,
my prayer for you is that you spend the time with those
you love and that you receive much joy and many
blessings.

January 24 - "Understanding the New Children" - with Jennifer Crews.
Authentic individuals
The children today are blessed with amazing gifts and
new perspectives of the world - intuition, telekinetic
abilities, energy awareness and more. Discover the
truth behind all the labels our physical world uses to
define the children. Know them instead as authentic
individuals. Learn and recognize the
multidimensional and intuitive aspect of having
worked with these children for over 13 years. Support
each other as professionals and parents in
understanding the variety of beautiful gifts these
children are meant to teach us.
Jennifer
Crews, MA. Child Intuitive, Intuitive Artist, Visionary
Teacher. Jennifer began her work in the care-giving
profession as a nationally certified Pediatric Speech
Language Pathologist. She has 13 years experience
working with children and their families all over the
globe. She realized she literally could hear and see
what the children wanted to share, communicate, and
express through her own language - her intuition. She
decided to honor her gifts and founded Intuitive
Teachings, LLC to assist parents, professionals, and
individuals worldwide to understand themselves as
well as the true essence of the new children. She has
devoted her life to teaching others - Know Your
Intuition, Know Yourself, Know Your Child.
