Year-end giving image
Would you like to make a year-end gift? CPW accepts online giving. Give to a church planter, a project, or the core budget of CPW. Your gifts allow this ministry to exist and expand the scope of starting and strengthening churches here, near, and far away.
CAR '11 Cruise
The Classic Adult mini-Retreat (CAR) was held in October
and was a big hit! The teaching, the diverse seminars, the uplifting worship, gospel concert, and sunset dinner cruise (right) were superb; we would love to do this again in 2012!
Dome of the Rock
Interested in traveling to Israel? Check out the trip that John and Debbie Merritt are leading in March 2012 or the trip led by Rick Moe and David Yetter in November 2012.
CONVERGE Church Planting Update
Folsom Community Church Folsom Community Church is having their Public Grand Opening on Sunday, January 22, 2012!

Please be praying for Pastor Tito and Day Day Dizon and their leaders as they prepare for this important day. Thanks to all -- especially Natomas Life Ministries and Ignite Community Church -- who have been instrumental in seeing this work come together.

Converge is committed to starting churches because we're convinced it is one of the most effective ways to share the gospel and see people come to Christ.
Join us on a Prayer and Fasting Day, December 13
Below are some "starter" requests. If you'd like a request added to the Prayer Day list, please send them to  Sandy by Monday, the 12th.
Pastor Jän van Oosten of NewCov in Fresno has completed his initial chemo regimen. He is now going through tests to evaluate the effectiveness of the treatments. Jän is getting stronger daily and has benefited greatly from your prayers and the Spirit's ministry to his body, soul and spirit!
Dr. Andy Acquistapace (retired from ministries in Oakland and Alameda) is improving and continuing his physical therapy after having a stroke. He asks us to pray that his full recovery will be "sooner rather than later."
Pray that CPW will Delight God by starting and strengthening churches that transform lives and communities here, near, and far away.
Pastor Kelly Patchin of New Harbor in Benicia is addressing his pancreatitis through a limited and controlled diet.
Lillie Gonzalez, Church Planting Assistant with CPW, is getting stronger and more pain free after her back surgery in September. She may return to work later this month or in January.

Pastor Craig Selness of Cornerstone Community Church in San Jose is scheduled to have hip replacement surgery on Wednesday, December 21 (postponed from December 7).
CPW is looking for a good tenant in their Tracy office building. This is a significant income stream for our work.

Ask the Lord to assist CPW Churches (listed below) who are looking to fill staff positions in their churches.

Jesus' prayed for us (John 17:13-21, NLT): "Now I am coming to you Prayer-surrender[Father]. I told them many things while I was with them in this world so they would be filled with my joy. I have given them your word. And the world hates them because they do not belong to the world, just as I do not belong to the world. I'm not asking you to take them out of the world, but to keep them safe from the evil one. They do not belong to this world any more than I do. Make them holy by your truth; teach them your word, which is truth. Just as you sent me into the world, I am sending them into the world. And I give myself as a holy sacrifice for them so they can be made holy by your truth.
"I am praying not only for these disciples but also for all who will ever believe in me through their message. I pray that they will all be one, just as you and I are one-as you are in me, Father, and I am in you. And may they be in us so that the world will believe you sent me."
