3D Update: starting and strengthening churches in Uganda
CPW goes global

The church is alive and strong in Uganda. In fact, Kelly in Ugandaamong Ugandan church leaders there is a desire to plant 3,000 churches in the next 5 years. Our own Pastor Kelly Patchin from New Harbor in Benicia is in Africa now making his way to Kampala, Uganda, where he will attend meetings with 200 potential church planters on July 3-5.

Last year the focus of Kelly's trip and the Ugandan leader's efforts were on effective assessments of potential planters. This year they are building their movement's infrastructure to support new churches and church planters.

Pastor Francis Nyang is our key contact with a church movement called the Elders' Fellowship Association of Churches in Uganda.

Please be praying for Pastor Kelly, his daughter Kelly with kids in UgandaVictoria, and the Hatzfield family -- all from Benicia -- as they serve the Lord, serve the people of Uganda, and learn how we may partner with them and improve our own systems of church planting! By the way, New Harbor is sending 200 filled backpacks to be distributed to children, too.

God is at work... here, near, and far away!!
