Introducing CPW 3D
In Acts 1:8 Jesus called His followers to make a gospel impact in three dimensions: here, near, and far away. Converge PacWest is looking to go 3D, starting and strengthening churches on five continents.
We are seeking 2000 Local Partners who will donate $25 in 2011 to start and strengthen churches in Haiti, Uganda, India, Argentina, the Nordic-Baltic area, and CPW region. The $50,000 raised will be used to train, mobilize, and support national church planters and plants.
Local Partners will receive monthly email updates (like this!) tracking the progress of the work and future possibilities.

3D Update: church plant in Tartu, Estonia CPW goes global May we introduce you to 3D Church in Tartu, Estonia. A group of vibrant, young believers began meeting every other week in a local cinema last September and soon outgrew their 68-seat meeting room. They now meet weekly in a larger venue. Almost all of those attending 3D are students under 24 years of age. Here's an excerpt from a recent email from one in their church: "Meanwhile it's going pretty all right, we have new people coming every week and all our small groups will/already have duplicated by the end of this year (will have 6 small groups after that). We will also have a church camp with about 50 people right after Christmas and our very first baptism at the end of this year. Still we have had some difficulties with our students parents since some of them are very negative about Christian faith, and that is also our prayer request. At their church camp they had 16 receive Christ. Soon after five were baptized. (Check out their website!) Through CPW 3D, we are positioned to support this new and growing community of Christ followers who are courageously starting a church. More from another email: "While no one gets paid at 3D church and our budget is really limited, there are also some additional needs we would never be able to meet within our own resources, like video camera for putting worship services up on our webpage or microphones or drums or lights what we have been able to borrow so far from Salem or Risttee churches." It is our intention to help fund 3D Church $1000 per month through 2011 beginning in March.
Their newly appointed pastor is Jakob Remmel. Jakob goes to school at the University in Tallinn. He drives back and forth to Tartu twice a week (2 hours one way). He is an evangelist who is passionate for the lost. His father, Meego Remmel, is the President of the Union of Evangelical and Baptist Churches of Estonia. His Grandfather is Pastor of Viljandi Baptist Church (in his 70's). Thank you for your a real help in starting 3D!
