Deepening and Expanding Our Impact
God is challenging CONVERGE PacWest (CPW) to deepen and expand our impact in 2011. We want to make a difference in three dimensions (3D): "here" in the local church; "near" in church plants in our region; and "far away" in helping start churches internationally. This reflects Jesus' directive to His followers in Acts 1:8.
   Let me explain:
HERE: In the coming year CPW will seek to strengthen our member churches by providing each church with a simple self-evaluation resource. It is our hope that this will spur meaningful discussions about each church's ministry strengths and challenges. Out of this we hope to offer further support and resources through LEAD Teams, through various proven tools, through timely encouragement, and through prayer.
CPW 3D Logo-2NEAR: We believe God is calling us to plant five churches in our region in 2011 again. This will be a financial and logistical challenge. But we're seeing good movement already, and we know the need is great for God-glorifying, gospel-sharing, life-giving churches. LEAD Teams will again be at the forefront of this move.
FAR: This is new and outside the norm for CONVERGE regions, but we feel strongly that God is opening doors to raise up Local Partners who will help fund and support International Partners to start new churches in Haiti, Uganda, India, Argentina, and the Nordic-Baltic region. This requires us to raise up 2000 people who will give a one-time donation of $25 to make this happen.
CPW 3D: We're calling this emphasis CPW 3D. CONVERGE PacWest is going global!

Your partner in taking the message of Christ to 3D,
David Yetter
