Introducing CPW 3D
In Acts 1:8 Jesus called His followers to make a gospel impact in three dimensions: here, near, and far away. Converge PacWest is looking to go 3D, starting and strengthening churches on five continents.
We are seeking 2000 Local Partners who will donate $25 in 2011 to start and strengthen churches in Haiti, Uganda, India, Argentina, the Nordic-Baltic area, and CPW region. The $50,000 raised will be used to train, mobilize, and support national church planters and plants.
Local Partners will receive monthly email updates (like this!) tracking the progress of the work and future possibilities.

3D Update: the Mising of India
CPW goes global May we introduce you to the Mising people of India. They live in Assam (see map) and represent 1.5 million unreached people. The Mising are animists, fearing spirits in impressive trees, hills, rivers or wherever. However, there have been some conversions among the Mising in the past few years, which is a bit of a breakthrough! Through CPW 3D, we are positioned to support the tiny community of Christ followers among the Mising who are courageously beginning church planting. They have the New Testament in their language and are just developing their own worship songs.  See the pictures of a typical family (top left), a Mising church (above) and their primary leader (left). As you remember, we are looking to raise 2000 Local Partners (of which you are some of the first!) to raise funds to support God's amazing gospel-sharing, life-changing work through starting and strengthening churches in India, Haiti, Argentina, Uganda, the Nordic-Baltic area, and the CPW region. At pre-launch we have 8 partners and $200 ready to be employed...
