 2012 `Best Places to Work for LGBT Equality`                        


The Human Rights Campaign Foundation, the educational arm of the nation's largest lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) civil rights organization, will honor 189 major U.S. employers as its 2012 'Best Places to Work for LGBT Equality" at the Eighth Annual LGBT Workplace Awards Seminar and Reception tonight.  The event, recognizing a decade of progress in corporate equality, will be hosted by Time Warner and held at the Time Warner Center in New York City.  Campbell Soup Company Vice President and Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer Rosalyn Taylor O'Neale will give the keynote address.   

 

 

 GLAAD Launches Commentator Accountability Project

 GLAAD, the nation's lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) media advocacy and anti-defamation organization, today announced the launch of its Commentator Accountability Project.  The project aims to educate the media about the extreme rhetoric of over three dozen activists who are often given a platform to speak in opposition to LGBT people and the issues that affect their lives.

FAMILY EQUALITY COUNCIL ANNOUNCES `SNAP IT & SEND IT` CAMPAIGN

 

  Family Equality Council, the national organization that connects, supports and represents the one million parents who are lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender (LGBT) and the two million children they are raising, today announced the launch of "Snap It & Send It" - a campaign to bring attention to thousands of forms that fail to recognize the diversity of LGBT families.
