 Survey: Contractors Not Burdened By Government Anti-Discrimination Ordinances                    


 Local ordinances that require city and county contractors to prohibit sexual orientation and gender identity discrimination protect thousands of workers without burdening governments or businesses, according to a new study from the UCLA School of Law's Williams Institute. 

"This study provides evidence that a federal executive order that similarly barred discrimination could protect millions of workers while not overburdening federal contractors or the U.S. government," said the study's co-author, Christy Mallory, Legal Fellow, Williams Institute.

  

Groundbreaking Study on Lesbian Professionals

 

According to research performed by Evolved Employer, the think tank arm of The Glass Hammer, a career management website for women in financial and professional services, 83.3% of LGBT women respondents that they participate in internal or external LGBT networking events. Nevertheless, almost a third (28.9%) said their company did not have an LGBT network.

First-Ever LGBT Super Bowl Survey

 For the first time in history the LGBT consumer was directly asked for their opinion of the Super Bowl, the hype, the half time show, and of course, the commercials.

The survey was conducted by "The Focus Group"
with Tim Bennett and John Nash, from  SiriusXM's OutQ, in conjunction with the consumer research firm Iceology during and after the game.
