LIFE IS MORE IMPORTANT NOW! AN INTERVIEW WITH CNN's Don Lemon
Inspiration is what you walk away with after reading CNN weekend anchor Don Lemon's book, "Transparency." Although you may have thought that his autobiography is all geared towards coming out of the closet, it's just not true. There is actually a small portion of the book that deals with his sexual orientation. But according to Don, that's what got the most attention, so that's what people want to hear. He titled his book, "Transparency" because it talks about everything in his life. He reveals that at a young age he was a victim of child molestation, discusses the emotional repercussions of his father's death and his mother's remarriage. As a black and now gay man, (a double minority according to him) you will follow Don throughout his career as he never takes "no" for an answer. His unstoppable pursuit as a journalist is what made him so successful today.

In 1979, the dynamic duo married and shortly headed out west to peruse their mutual dreams of stardom.

Business Succession Planning for LGBT
Business Owners By Angela D. Gianpolo Proper estate planning is particularly important for the LGBT community due to the fact that same-sex marriage is not legal in most states and even in those states, same-sex couples are not afforded the privileges and benefits of federal law. With that said, even those with estate plans often do not take into consideration ownership interests in companies. Business succession planning is crucial to ensure the successful transfer of your company or to properly provide for your life partner and yet few business owners have planned for the eventual transfer of their business interests. |
BE WEALTHY! Don't Just Fake It
By David Rae
House in the Hills, Fancy Automobiles, Exciting Vacations,Making Work an Option, Enjoying your golden years, are all things that take money. Living in LA I know far more people exhibiting the trappings of wealth, than people who are really on the road to honestly being financially secure. In this article I hope to teach you about what I consider to be the most important behaviors you control that will help you make all of your financial goals a reality. As I write this I am thinking how simple these behaviors are, if how far behind baby-boomers are when planning for retirement is any indication, most people aren't really taking the appropriate steps to help them achieve financial independence.
