NGLCC`s First Annual Commerce and Enterprise Study

The goal of the study is to understand the preferences, motivations, and purchase habits of LGBT business owners and managers.

While there is an enormous amount of data available about LGBT consumer behavior, the same cannot be said for LGBT business-specific data. That is, until now. The NGLCC has teamed up with Community Marketing, an NGLCC certified supplier, to produce this "First Annual LGBT Commerce & Enterprise Study" as an answer to this need and to further empower the LGBT business community. The goal of the study is to understand the preferences, motivations, and purchase habits of LGBT business owners and managers. The survey is open until March 31, 2010.

EndTheLies.org: Unfounded, Anti-LGBT Scare Tactics on ENDA Become Latest Addition to Interactive Wall

Scare Tactic Promoted by Right Wing Group Exposed for Outright Falsehood

The Human Rights Campaign, the nation's largest lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) civil rights organization, today added the Traditional Values Coalition's salacious attack against the Employment Non-Discrimination Act to the EndtheLies.org website. EndtheLies.org, a website confronting lies and distortions repeatedly used to defeat LGBT equality measures, now features TVC's recent action alert to its members where they claimed that ENDA would mean children will be taught by "men dressed as women" and forced "to learn about bizarre sexual practices."

Point Foundation Partners With Palette Fund

In Launch of Pilot Program Internship Pilot Program Invests in LGBT Nonprofit Sector

Point Foundation (Point), the nation's largest scholarship-granting organization for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) students of merit, and the Palette Fund, a philanthropic organization that honors the legacy of Rand Harlan Skolnick through collaborative grant making and programs that value human rights and education, today announced the launch of a nonprofit internship pilot program. The program will provide Point Scholars with full-time, career-related work experience to connect their academic preparation to their career aspirations. This innovative program is designed to provide paid internships to Point Scholars who are interested in pursuing a career in the LGBT movement.
