Gay Couples As Fit To Adopt As Heterosexuals: Study
The
researchers said the findings, which are reported in the journal
Adoption Quarterly, are important because it compared gay and lesbian
and heterosexual couples.
Gay or straight, the sexual orientation of adoptive parents does not
have an impact on the emotional development of their children,
according to a new study.

Majority of Workers Still Hide Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity at Work
New `Degrees of Equality` report finds persistent negative climate for LGBT workers
A majority - 51 percent - of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender
workers continue to hide their identity from most or all co-workers,
according to a new report released today from the Human Rights Campaign
Foundation that examines the real-life experiences of LGBT workers.
The report, "Degrees of Equality: A National Study Examining Workplace Climate for LGBT Employees,"
found that, despite significant advances in employment policies at
major U.S. corporations, a majority of LGBT workers continue to
experience a range of negative consequences because of their sexual
orientation and gender identity. Younger workers are even more likely
to hide their LGBT identity - only 5 percent of LGBT employees ages 18
to 24 say they are totally open at work, compared to more than 20

Trans-Woman, Madison Senini and her partner, Gina L. Piellusch open a gun store specifically for women and the GLBT community.
California's Antelope Valley, just
north of Los Angeles, is named after the Pronghorn Antelope. Herds of
these graceful creatures (actually not known as "true antelope") roamed
the land until the late 1800's when their fear of crossing the railroad
made them easy prey and hunters ultimately wiped them out.

Queerbook To Enter The Realm of Gay Social Media
The new gay social media portal is in development and looking for investors.
It is no secret that the GLBT
community has embraced social media sites. Perhaps it is due to the
ability to create a safe space for communication to take place, but
also as a result of the market's general love of technology. My Space,
Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter are all heavily infused with Gay and
Lesbian groups and fan pages and although these mainstream sites do
serve these needs, no one seems to have come up with a social media
site for Gays that will really take off. Read on....
