Together, united, we can accomplish more than any one of us can do on our own. That's what it means to LIVE UNITED. Join us October 23rd to show that we are UNITED to make the community of Pierce County a betterplace for everyone to live.
- Wear your LIVE UNITED shirt or button
- Put a shirt on your mannequins, statues or even your pet
- Put LIVE UNITED on your reader board, marquee, billboard or other high-visibility spots
- Dress up your window with LIVE UNITED shirts, photos, posters or language
- Chalk it on the sidewalk in front of your business, in a plaza or other paved space
- Mow it in your front lawn or create a yard sign to show your support
- Create stickers and hand them out to customers with their change or stick them on key items you distribute each day
- Stage a flash mob or join us at the Tacoma Mall at 12 noon to be part of ours

Volunteer Center Launches ACT NOW Projects |
Last month, United Way of Pierce County's Volunteer Center launched ACT NOW, a volunteer opportunity for those looking to make a difference without having to make a long-term committment.
ACT NOW projects offer a variety of ways to connect individuals and groups with meaningful, short-term volunteer opportunities. Creating the opportunity to give back to the community, on your schedule, one project at a time.
