Hello SWERVER!
I could use a little inspiration right about now. Couldn't you? That's why I'm turning my attention to things of the Spirit. Earthly stuff is pretty darn alluring--material things, the news, other people's business ... but these external things aren't really the deal. I keep finding that the deep stuff of being is sourced from within, and that from an internal place of connectedness, inspiration emanates. So how do we tune in to that inner place of connection? For the month of October, SWERVE's month of INSPIRATION, we're encouraged to turn to our individual Spiritual Practices, whether that be simple contemplation, meditation, following the covenants of a religion, or of following your own bliss. Look inside your own heart and soul for INSPIRATION. Seek out your connection to the Divine, from within. This will lead you to connection, appreciation and inspiration without. P.S. Using the Pilates Stick is like working out on a reformer or a cadillac. SWERVE is excited to offer Pilates Stick in the studio on Fridays at 11:15 with certified trainer Carlo Velascaz. Sunday, October 19th is SWERVE's final offering of this special class for this year. Come as you are and any state will be elevated, up- leveled and uplifted by this simple yoga practice! Learn breathing techniques and physical exercises, plus mantras and mudras to engage in experiencing your existence as a spiritual being. Students will open up in body, mind and spirit to Supreme Consciousness. Siri Sat Nam has been practicing and teaching Kundalini yoga for over 23 years and has earned the status of master teacher. His style is friendly, informal and respectful to all. His classes elevate all who participate, allowing the yoga to serve as its own unique experience for each individual. SWERVE looks forward to hosting Siri's annual New Year's Goal-setting Prosperity Workshop in January 2009. |

Jesse is a no-nonsense trainer and certified Pilates instructor who knows how to guide clients through non-stop, hardcore workouts. She is knowledgeble and thorough in her coaching as well as fun to spend an hour with in session.
