Thank you to all of our Summer Monkey Buddies! With 62 Buddies so far, we are more than halfway to our goal of 120 Buddies. We are also half way to our deadline of September 30, so we still need a Buddy a Day!
Alfie Booker in the UK is Goldie's Summer Monkey Buddy.
As you know, Chi Chi saw Dr. Schirmer last Wednesday due to a lump on her breast that had erupted through her skin. Unfortunately, the diagnosis was not good - mammary carcinoma. The tumor and her lymph node had metastasized and were removed.
Thank you Wendy, Toni and Lisa for donating to our Memorial Medical Fund for Chi Chi's medical expenses. She is recovering well from her surgery and happy to be back in her habitat with her friends Puchi and Wendell. Although Chi Chi's prognosis was not good, we have high hopes - I am the eternal optimist and I believe in miracles!
Watch the sweet video of Chi Chi's reunion with Puchi and Wendell, and you will believe in miracles too!
