Farm News....

Madison on the farm...

Hello, my name is Madison Lucille Robertson. I am currently twelve years old and I am also the youngest member of the family. This newsletter is going to explain my chores on the farm and my likes and dislikes of the farm.

I have several chores on the farm. I have to make sure that the chicks and the rabbits have their essentials, which are food and water. Also, I have to make sure that the animal environments are kept clean. This includes cleaning the sheep, rabbit and chicken barn. One of my other duties on the farm is to collect eggs, wash them and put them into cartons. There are a lot of responsibilities on the farm.

There may be lots of chores to do, but there are some good sides about the farm. My likes about it are; the view of the farm, our donkey and how we always use teamwork to get things done. The reason I like the view of the farm is because I admire the beautiful colors of the trees and the blue hazy mountains. I love our donkey, Buddy, because he loves attention and is very sweet. Lastly, I love how we all work as a team because our chores are completed at a quicker pace. These are what I like about living on the farm.

I have to admit, I have my dislikes regarding the farm. First, cleaning the barns is very hard because we have to do this daily and two, even after we clean it, the barn still gets dirty. Next, it's that we have to feed the animals before school which makes me feel flustered because sometimes I am in a rush. No matter what, there are always going to be downsides of something but I still love living on the farm.
