Meet American Tackle Pro Staff Member
Bob Tiedemann is from Moorpark, CA, located in Southern California. He works full time as an Automotive Equipement Service Technician. Bob started building custom rods and doing repairs over the last 5 years as a hobby. Salt water, spinning and casting rods are the most popular choices in his area of California to Mexico. After he joined the local fishing club, a member showed Bob his custom rod set-up. Bob was very impressed and wanted to learn more so he began to research what would be needed to get started. He attended seminars, watched demonstrations, visited numerous web sites, purchased books and DVD's. Bob began building rods for friends, family members and himself. He enjoys learning and incorporating new thread art designs. At his monthly club meetings, members bring in their rods for repair, or ask that he build them a custom rod to their liking. Yearly, Bob builds rods for the club's raffles. The proceeds go toward our "Trips for Kids". Recently, Bob was elected as an Advisory Board Member for the Ventura County Sportfishing Club and will be able to express ideas and suggestions for the club.
American Tackle is excited about Bob joining the team and cannot wait to for him to express his ideas and suggestions with us.
